USH
Today marks the first time I've gone to Universal Studios Hollywood in 2010. :D Good times. It was surprisingly packed; nothing like after Christmas because that was just crazy packed, but there were a good number of people at the park and at City Walk, but then again, it's Saturday (a fact that I keep forgetting about because New Years simply threw me for a loop).
The only thing I did was ride the studio tour because... that's what I do at USH. I mean, I used to go there just for the Creature from the Black Lagoon show, but that stopped some time around when December started.
Anyway, so I was waiting in line for the Studio Tram Tour and the lady in front of me asks if I had a cell phone she could borrow. I consider telling her no, but I figure, hey why not? So, I let her borrow it and after dialing the number do you know what the first thing she does is? She coughs all up on my freaking phone. Like straight up, it isn't until the third cough does she even begin to pretend to cover it. D: That was such FAIL that I didn't know what to say. All I did was take the phone back from her and immediately put it in my pocket. When we finally got on the tram, I all take it out and freaking clean it the best I could on my shirt. I was so displeased.
Not cool at all. Rule #1 when borrowing strangers shit - Don't fucking cough on it.Have some graphics.

Happy New Year
Wow. 2010 already. It's kind of mind-boggling. I was watching Dick Clark's Countdown to the New Year and listening to him actually makes me feel really sad. You know, it sucks. But besides that, J.Lo was singing and she said something like, You remember when I performed this for Y2K? And then sang a song (I can't currently remember which song it was, but I do know that I knew it). Crap. I remember Y2K and the big hullabaloo (that's actually a fun word to write, if I spelled it correctly) and to think that was really ten years ago.
I don't even know where the year went, but what can you do? I'm already planning for this year. It's funny because I make it a point to write down a resolution each year and then at the end of the year I review it. I re-read 2009's resolution and was like, man... that's some good resolutions I totally forgot about. Yup, I /always/ forget about them, but I mean, maybe this year will be different. You never know.
To round off the year. Here's a youtube vid that makes me laugh. :D

Eye Exam
So, I went to Linden Optometry today for my yearly eye exam. It's weird because I could swear that it had been more than a year ago that I got my eyes checked. I mean, the number of contacts would lean towards that; however, I apparently went in 2008. I'm so confused. Anyway, that's not the point of the story. The point of the story is that I was there for like ever. There was a problem with my insurance because of stuff and then there were many phone calls to be made and it was simply frustrating.
On the other hand, my eyesight didn't get any worse. Thank God for small favors, right? Except this isn't a 'small' favor. I mean, my eyesight's a pretty damn big thing.
Oo, dude, you know what I hate the most? The eye puff thing. "Just relax and look at the light." Yeah, I'd relax if I didn't know a puff of air was going to freaking hit my eyeball! "Don't squint." Yeah, she said that. I was like, "I'm trying not to." And then she had to do it several times because apparently the first time doing it wasn't good enough. But then the thing would get into place and then back off again. Apparently my eyes weren't open enough. But I was like tense with my forehead pressed against the machine blinking rapidly and apparently failing at keeping my eye open. It's like torture.
Such a boring day, ne? However, I did finish theh Lego Star Wars series. Admittedly, not 100% complete, but I did all the storylines so that I can freeplay them all. So, I'm like 75% done. Then they have that bounty hunters one that I'm going to start playing. That game is a little addictive. Or rather, when there's a game available, I'll get addicted to it. D:

Merry Christmas
Might as well get that out of the way since I don't think I'll be blogging tomorrow. Go figure. Yesterday, I missed blogging because I went to a gift exchange sort of thing and it was pretty time consuming (in a good way of course). We ate, we opened presents, we played games. What else could you ask for? It's like the perfect way to spend the holidays.
It was kind of funny because we had a Wii on, playing a Mario game (I don't remember which one it was; but it was pretty evil actually) and instead of playing that we were playing Uno. Damn competitive people. It was pretty damn awesome actually. Uno's a trip. Half the time whenever I saw an 8 I was so ready to change the color and then I would remember, Uno... hello, not Crazy 8s. *game recognition fail.
Anyway... I asked for notebooks - obviously because I don't have enough notebooks. :) But really though, it's an obsession really and whenever I need a notebook, I always can't find one. What's up with that? Anyway, awesomeness on getting it for Christmas. Hey, I'm easy to shop for.
For the holidays...

Forgot to mention...
Dude. I don't think I mentioned this in my Universal Studios Grinchmas entry. You get to go through the new metropolitan area! I was stupid excited about it too, and I probably took way more photos than strictly necessary since they're doing a pretty damn good job on their on chronologicalling it (yeah, that's not a word). Anyway, it's awesome. I've been waiting for it to open and you know they're going to have a new King Kong studio - since the old one burned down (now that is a travesty). All around awesome. (I'm way too biased when it comes to Universal even though I have a love-hate relationship with the place.)
Anyway, I forgot to mention in the last entry that I'm adding those random demotivation posters because I have way too much text in my entries and it amuses me. The pictures don't even have anything to do with the text, so if you're confused by the lack of cohesiveness, just ignore it. :DThis is my downright favorite. When I start laughing suddenly, it's because I just thought of this again. :D
And that's how I plan to end all my entries now.
